RE: 2 Starter Solenoids on a 1994 e350?
Here is one diagram. The starter relay actuates the starter solenoid (mounted on the starter) which supplies voltage to the starter motor. The click may be the starter relay. Or it may be the starter solenoid (which is simply a heavy duty relay). If you can reach them with a voltmeter you can determine if you are getting voltage out of the relay and if you are getting voltage out of the solenoid to the starter motor.
But replacing all 3 is probably a good idea considering the age.

RE: 2 Starter Solenoids on a 1994 e350?
Could be a bad starter. Different animal, but my ATV recently would not start. It would click when I hit the key, but starter would not turn. Using a voltmeter I checked to see if I as getting voltage out of the starter solenoid. I was. Checked to see if I was getting voltage to the starter motor. I was.
Bought a new starter and installed it and all was fine. Took the old starter apart and found the brushes worn down to nubs.

RE: Tow Vehicle w/ Best Back Seat for Passengers - Ram Mega Cab?
I am with the “can’t go wrong with any crew cab” group as far as leg room and comfort. Can’t speak for the mega cab as I have had one F250 LB CC and two F350 LB CCs. Hunting buddies have ridden 300 miles each way to our hunting cabin and each time I got a new one they always commented on leg room and on how comfortable they were.

RE: Amarillo, TX RV Park
On our many trips back and forth to Colorado we always overnighted at Ft Amarillo RV park on the west edge of town just off I-40. Quick access to restaurants, fuel, and shopping if you need any of that.

RE: Prestone all-vehicle coolant
If the engine and cooling system are out of warranty, go for it. If still under factory warranty you could be opening yourself up for denial of covered service if they determined you used a non approved coolant that might in some remote way had some possible affect on whatever issue you might have had. And then it is up to you to fight that and prove it didn’t. That would mean lawyers. Much easier to simply use what the manufacturer specifies.

RE: WTH ! ! ! Tires
I am with road hazard. Must have run over something with a sharp edge. Doesn't look like any kind of "normal" failure.

RE: How important is 90 degree turning?
14 years towing the 5er and never once came close to 90 degrees. Even in some tight campgrounds.

RE: An EV motor home/van?
There are certain traveler types it will work great for. Just as there are those that it will not work well. Just another alternative. Choice is great.

RE: Need Help
For lack of better info, google auto repair mexico beach fl and check reviews. If you find one with all 4-5 star reviews be very skeptical. No auto repair is that good. But if you find one with lots of all types of reviews but mostly positive then scan those reviews and decide whether to chance it.

RE: Ugh, Camping World strikes again
I have posted before about CW installing a 2nd A/C on our RV. After installing it the new A/C would not work. They said bad A/C, they would order another, come back in a week. Another 70 mile round trip. Back the next week, they pulled it in the shop, 30 minutes later said it was ready. I told the tech (different tech from first install) that he was really fast to have pulled the old one and installed a new one. He said he wasn’t told anything about a new one. He just found that the bolts had been tightened too tight, apparently twisting the frame, and the fan could not turn. He adjusted the bolts and all was fine.
I talked to the service manager about it. He just shrugged it off. No apology. No sorry about that. No admission of any error on their part. Over 10 years ago and never set foot in another CW. Was before I ever heard all the bad stories about CW.

RE: Grey water use help
Someone with actual experience in really cold temps should come along with help. There are a lot of RVers who use their rigs across the northern states and even Alaska in the winter. It can be done. But I can’t tell you how they do it. Nor tell you you can’t.

RE: Sensitive headlight sensor
If I turn off the auto headlights, the sensor is disabled and won't turn on the vehicle lights, pretty easy.
You can flip the knob to "off" but that only works for this start. Next time you start the truck up the automatic lights are reactivated. As soon as you manually turn the lights on the automatic lights are reactivated.
The knob won't stay in the "off" position. It spring-loads back to auto.
It's just another thing to have to remember to do EVERY TIME you get in the truck, to mitigate a momentary annoyance that only SOMETIMES happens.
I guess they are all different. My 2022 F150 light switch has 4 positions; off, parking lights, auto, and headlights. And it stays where you turn it.

RE: Sensitive headlight sensor
Normal. Not uncommon to see vehicles on the road where lights turn on going under underpasses.

RE: Electrical issue.
I would open up the wiring junction box on your pin box where the trailer cord terminates. There will be a wire from the 7 pin cord with a wire for the backup lights connected to a trailer wire, likely with a wire nut. Disconnect that wire from the cord. That will at least stop the trailer from backfeeding and turning on the truck backup lights. You might even find the wire problem there. Could be the backup light wire has somehow come in contact with the 12 volt wire in that junction box.

RE: How to keep gray water from coming up into tub?
If yours is like mine a plug like those above would not work. But you could use the flat rubber type with a weight on top if it. A simple gallon zip lock bag of sand would work for the weight.

RE: How many EVs is GM actually selling?
GM's production and "sales" of EVs, including pickup trucks, went up by a large percentage in the 3rd quarter. But they count vehicles as sold when the dealer takes them. ..........
True of all vehicles. All those thousands of EV, hybrid, and ICE vehicles setting on dealer lots count as sold.

30' and longer is not uncommon here. But not with 3 axles. Those look a lot heavier than what we see here.

RE: 2009 Tiffin Phaeton Engine Rebuild
Sounds awfully high. Googling shows rebuilt long blocks at under $20,000. Hard to believe it would take that difference in labor to replace it. Shop around.
